Tisha b’Av offers us a chance to lean fully into our grief. This year, we are recommitting to hearing the lament of over 400 years of white supremacy as we come together to mourn the lives stolen by anti-Black violence. By taking this moment together to mourn with ritual, reflection, and testimony from those taking action locally, we prepare ourselves to move forward in the fight for racial justice.
In partnership with Detroit Jews For Justice, Temple Emanu-El (Oak Park, MI), Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, Temple Kol Ami, Tchiyah, and Congregation Shir Tikvah.
