Staff is generally in the building M-F, 9am-5pm, except on Jewish holidays. Additionally, the synagogue is open during Shabbat and holidays. Please ring our doorbell!
Where can I park?
sAs downtown Detroit has grown and developed, parking can be challenging. There are paid lots located near the synagogue, metered spaces are available on Griswold, Clifford, and Washington via app (Park Detroit) or kiosk. Parking tickets are very expensive so don't forget to pay for your parking! Always check the hours of operation of the meters and it's free on Sundays.

What are your services like?
We hold kabbalat Shabbat services every Friday night at 7pm. Saturday morning, we have weekly Shabbat services beginning at 9:30am, proceeded by Torah study at 9:00am. The dress code is informal and after services on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, we offer a communal meal. You will find our services and the meals afterwards to be a very warm and friendly atmosphere, and we look forward to seeing you there!
