Thursday Afternoon Virtual Torah study

Join Rabbi Silverman twice per month on Thursday afternoons at 1pm for virtual Torah Study to study the weekly parashah. The link to join Thursday Torah Study can be found on our events Calendar.

Dor Hadash - Our Family Education Program

Dor Hadash is a pluralistic religious school serving families of the Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, Congregation T’chiyah, the Reconstructionist Congregation of Detroit, and unaffiliated families. We engage parents in study with our rabbis while children ages 4-12 learn in their own classrooms. Our curriculum encompasses Jewish text study, holidays, prayer, and values. We engage Hebrew in the context of our broader studies, through text, holiday vocabulary, and prayer. 

Sessions will run from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm.

  • Tuition will be $900 for the first child registered and $700 for each additional child.

    • Scholarships are available if needed.

  • Registration will open in July 2026.
