This year, we will have a Shofar Mobile traveling throughout the day on Sunday, September 20th to various neighborhoods throughout the City of Detroit. We invite you and your family to safely attend the shofar blowing nearest to you.
Please see below for a list of times and locations where the Shofar Mobile will be making an appearance:
1:00-1:30 p.m. - Palmer Park, 1121 Merrill Plaisance St, Detroit, MI
Meet at the Palmer Park Community Building- it is a bright colorful building next to the Palmer Park Splash Pad. There is a tree covered area next to the Community Building we will plan to use.
Large parking lot available.
2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Woodbridge, 1752 W. Forest, Detroit, MI
Meet at the large field next to IADS Members Josh Berkow and Sarah Pappas' house.
Street parking only.
3:00 p.m - 3:30 p.m. - Tashlich at Miliken State Park, 1900 Atware St, Detroit MI
Street parking available.
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Eden Gardens, 12273 Glenfield Ave, Detroit, MI
Meet in the area across from the gardens (the new neighborhood park). If for some reason someone/group is using that area we will meet in the gardens.

5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., - Gordon Park (across the street from The Congregation Coffee Shop and Bar- 9321 Rosa Parks Blvd, Detroit, MI)
Meet in the area next to the Band Shelter.
Primarily street parking, small parking lot off of Clairmount (west of Rosa Parks)
We require all attendees to wear masks and remain socially distanced.
If you or someone you know is not able or comfortable leaving their home to hear the shofar, please reach out to us. We will do our best to make accommodations.
