Second Annual MLK Interfaith Celebration

Join us for our Second Annual MLK Interfaith Celebration in partnership with Second Baptist Church and Old St. Mary’s Church. We will be coming together in collaboration and commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and work.

We invite you to an afternoon filled with a musical performance by DSA Choir, a historical presentation led by Keynote Speaker Reverend Joseph B. Samples III, and a luncheon. During the luncheon, we will be leading attendees through a deep-dive reflection on the social injustices facing us in modern times. As we reflect and address our modern day injustices, we encourage folks to work together to create a sustainable path towards active engagement, peace, and community collaboration.

Free and validated parking available at any of the Greektown Casino parking facilities or the Brush Street Garage, 1001 Brush (credit/debit card required to enter).
