Sukkot moves me from exhaustion to gratitude. After the transformative personal and professional intensity of the Days of Awe, I am exhausted. And so every year as I erect our sukkah, I wonder what God was thinking in putting these holidays so close together.

Many of you have shared your enthusiasm and excitement about the Synagogue's plans for the Days of Awe and I want to echo that excitement. Our services and programs throughout the High Holidays will be inspiring and meaningful as we examine who we wish to be, both individually and collectively, in the new year.
